Just had a full hip replacement at 45yrs old. I am completely amazed how well this surgery and recovery has gone. I had the BEST CARE from the very beginning including office staff, nurses, PA’s, surgery center and of course Dr Dart who has excellent bedside manner. My hip replacement was unbelievable!! Procedure had very little pain, and recovery was amazing! Outstanding surgeon!
My first experience with Dr. Dart was absolutely horrific; 2 hours behind, insulted my knowledge of my injury (I work in the medical field myself), and dismissed my questions like I was an imbecile. My second experience was completely the opposite: only 25 min. behind, actually addressed my concerns and questions, and was a genuine human being, wanting me to get better without surgery, exactly what I wanted too! I met with Dr. Dart 2-3 years ago regarding torn cartilage in my hip joint. He was supposed to do a labral tear repair, but instead, he informed me that the surgery would not fix my condition which was caused by early onset hip dysplasia. Dr. Dart not only gave me the first correct medical diagnosis of my condition after 2 years of pain and several other doctor visits, but he also referred me to the only physician who could have completed the corrective surgeries. I have been in his “care” for four months and have not seen him. I have blood problems because of the metal he put in me. He will not answer my families or my questions as to why he will not release me. I am sick of waiting and wish he would contact me. I am in Select Specialty hospital in Wichita. I cannot walk. Dr Dart fixed a serious failure of a previous hip surgery by another hip surgeon. That failure resulted in peroneal nerve damage and numbness resulting in dropped foot. Even with muscle deterioration He was successful in stabilizing my hip, which helped ease the terrible pain I was experiencing. I had a serious injury to the mid humorous. Dr. Dart explained the surgical and non-surgical options. He recommended surgery for best treatment and I am so glad he did. The healing time was much faster once surgery was completed. Great group of people to work with.
My experience with Dr. Dart was simply awesome. He came up with a great plan and executed it to perfection.
Very amazing doctor. Up front and listens to his patient.
