I've been going here for ten years now and they always treat my pets like family. It's hard to find a vet office that truly cares and will go out of the way to make even the grumpiest pet more comfortable. If you're looking for a vet look no further- you won't find better or more dedicated care than this!
I am from Long Island, New York and was here in Portland visiting. My little guy was favoring his front left paw. I made an appointment for him to be seen at Brackett Street Vet. They were amazing. The ladies at the front desk were lovely and welcoming to both Yogi and I as was vet tech. The Dr was so thorough and gentle with Yogi. He answered all of my questions and never made us feel rushed. Wish I lived here so I could bring all 5 of my fur babies here but I highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you all

I had a great appointment with Dr. Savage today where we discussed Gus' ongoing arthritis treatment plan. Dr. Savage spent a lot more time with me than I expected going over various options and possible outcomes. I really appreciate her straight-forward, practical approach, while clearly sincerely caring for my dog pal. And the entire Brackett Street staff is friendly, caring, and goes out of their way to make your visit pleasant. Thank you!
Brackett Street helped out our kitten after ingesting HARTZ ultraguard ear mite medicine. After an expensive and inconclusive trip to the emergency clinic, they called us to tell us that they did research on the product and asked us to come in (free of charge) to do right by our kitten and treat him. They've always impressed us at every visit and we'll definitely continue our pets care there every time! Thank you Brackett Street!!
I can't in good conscience recommend them. My cat was their and got a clean bill of health.4 days before she went into the hospital.with the amount of Lung disease she had it would have been hard to miss. And to add insult to injury. My new cats vet the cat Doctor along with the hospital. Have both sent sympathy cards. Nothing from Brackett st vet. So in good conscience I can't and won't recommend them. I screwed up the star rating.i give them the lowest possible

Took our pup for his first vet visit, everyone was wonderful, going over the info we got from the shelter to make sure he was up to date on everything. Talked at length with us about our pup's health and what to watch for and generally showed the personality you look for in a vet, knowledgable about the veterinary medicine but also very caring and patient with our questions. They were very good about working within our budget. Thanks everyone for a wonderful experience.
Most caring staff around. They all seem to truly enjoy their work and treat your furry family members like their own!
