I can't wait until Billings Clinic gets established here so there's some competition for this hospital. They've monopolized this valley and refuse to make REASONABLE payment arrangements with people.
My five year old son had a bike wreck a few weeks ago and I took him to the ER where they did X-rays and told me nothing was broken and that the severe pain my child was in was just from bruising and muscle injury. Well two nights ago I noticed a large lump on his collar bone and brought him in to his pediatrician. They pulled up his X-rays taken by ER staff that night and could see a fracture in the clavicle bone. He also looked at the radiologist report which also made no mention of this. I am so furious. Our daughter came 5 weeks early while I was visiting my family here in MT from ND. The anesthesiologist was fantastic, Dr. Chisdak performed an amazing C-section and all the nurses that took care of me and our little one were absolutely incredible. Beyond incredible and so personable. We were worried what would happen after I would get discharged and then we were told the hospital has a boarding family policy, meaning we stayed for free in the hospital while our little girl was still being observed. The past few times I have been to the ER, it hasn't been too great. Nice enough staff, but very neglectful. I visit often with my hubby who has cancer and have been in a few times for myself this past year and every visit has been the same. You shouldn't just leave a patient in a room, untreated for hours at a time. It is frustrating to either be the patient or the patient's loved one to feel this way. The ER Drs and Nurses, as well as Inpatient staff, and clinical staff have been so helpful and supportive when I or my family requires care. With 3 ER visits and an inpatient stay for my child in the past week, I am just so thankful we have such great medical care available in Bozeman!
...The Cardiac Pulmonary Dept.Therapists are very knowledgeable, friendly and know their jobs in helping with your road to recovery, even when you *wonder* if you can continue the extensive workout, but they cheer ya on with smiles & water (Y)...Jezz, exercise is not me favorite thing to do!....My program is for stamia and breathing, after having 'Walking Pneumonia' twice and COPD exasterbations which put me back in the hospital 4-5 more times with respiratory troubles..[3x's last year] ..So w/only 24% lung capacity left, It... read more
I just spent the other night in the ER with very quick turn around time, very helpful and caring staff. Then spent part of today in the office again for tests, kind people who really love their jobs! Thank you for being so understanding and honest in what has to be done!
