Initially I had an awful experience. I wouldn't recommend staying outside of the main building. However I was impressed with their day manager for fixing the situation. Sometimes things happen, but I was glad to see they were willing to work with me. Before the situation last night was fixed, I probably would have not returned, but due to Christy's actions I definitely will.
The Grand Lodge and Spa are beautiful. We have a fantastic apartment with three bedrooms (one is a double bunk room for kids), two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. We also have the adjoining king room for my parents, which is really convenient. And there's so much to do on the mountain in the summer! I took the kids on a zip line excursion this morning on the mountain and we had a great time. Our guides were knowledgeable and entertaining and my teenagers had a blast. We will definitely consider returning.
