I love coming to boxcar, it's like family. Everyone is very nice. Tammy is very friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. Food is great with great prices. Thank you for always providing a great atmosphere to visit and eat. Everyone should go there and give it a try.
I will never enter this place again!! I was with a large group this past Sunday and ordered the 12 oz Ribeye. My steak arrived, overcooked with a tiny potato but the real problem was that it was not a Ribeye but a Sirloin instead. I worked in a steak house for 3 years and know what a Ribeye is. The waitress told me she would get another one cooked but another of the wait staff/wait staff manager had the audacity to come out and argue with me and tell me that what they brought was definitely a Ribeye!!! Usually go to the Boxcar Grille for my Birthday. Service is good. No waiting long.
Great food with great service. Record time of meals leaving the kitchen 8-10 minutes which beats most others at 12-15+ minutes. Great quality with precise execution and great presentation. Great time, great people, and great food.
Great stop. Good food. Decent prices. Family friendly. Would definitely stop here again. Love an opportunity to skip the chains.
The chicken wings are awesome we go there every Thursday
Service was slow and our food was cold. I got prime rib and it took 10 minutes to get sauce for it
Love the food live in Glen Alpine but we travel to eat there.
