Excellent food and friendly service! Had the beef tips and the salad bar and was stuffed when I walked out! Great experience!
Friendly atmosphere, where staff is very attentive to your needs. Love their cactus petals, better that the "blooming onion". Salad bar is also good.
Me and my son stopped to eat on our way to Bakersville. I like to eat at places I've never been. It's a very nice looking restaurant. To me, the food isn't worth the money you have to pay & the service was REALLY bad. My son ordered a salad and our waitress never brought him a salad plate. She never offered to refill our teas. I think the tea was the best part of the meal.
Box Car Grille in Claremont is our favorite salad bar anywhere! Big selections and always fresh. We've loved everything we've ever tried from the menu. This time we just had the salad bar. The bread rolls were horrible for the first time ever. The rolls were like a sponge soaked up with grease. You could touch them and the grease would ooze out. YUCK!!!
