I had fallen and hurt my knee pretty bad. As a result I needed surgery. I kept telling this va that my knee still hurts. I struggle to walk because of the pain. My fall was in 2023. I begged for help. This location kept saying that I was simply too fat. That if I lost weight my pain would stop. I kept asking for help still. They told me even if something is wrong with your knee the va won't do anything because of your weight. I made a complaint against this location. I finally got that MRI done July of 2025. Nothing but professionalism. I've never had a problem that they couldn't explain or point me in the right direction. The VA client in Bowling Green deserves our upmost support. You have to remember they are totally dependent on the powers that be in Washington. That has to be a tough row to hoe these days. As far as to the negative reviews about the wait time. Good luck driving to Nashville. Have patients. In my opinion the staff especially the nurses and the receptionist are doing their level best
It you have an appointment here you might as well take the whole day off work. No matter what time your appointment is you’ll be in the waiting room for 2 hours if not more.
Gave it a 2 because it was clean and the receptionist was nice. I'm still sitting here 35 minutes past my appt time. I only need blood drawn. Drove 30 minutes to get up here. At this point I could have drove to the Nashville VA and my blood drawn already. Seems like a staffing issue. Either way no one should have to wait this long. If I were 30 minutes late they would probably make me reschedule. Dissapointed
The pharmacist is great. I enjoy working with her.
