Apparently "new" and "salvage" are interchangeable words when it comes to getting parts. "We'll put a 'new' mirror on for free." I pick it up and the "new" mirror is almost as beat up as the old one. "You misunderstood, by 'new' we meant 'new to this truck,' not a 'new' part." Funny, there was never any mention of a salvage part. We try to shop locally whenever we can, but we have never really thought about shopping locally for a vehicle before now.
