The place was completely gutted in 2006 and was rebuilt again. The restaurant is famous for its wonderful oysters, seafood platter and shrimps. I suppose if I wrote a bad review others may not try it and the crowd would be smaller. However, this place was so good I couldn't live with myself if I did that. While there was a crowd, the staff was efficient and very helpful. The line moved very quickly, and boy was it worth it! (We drove over 2 hours to get there). I consider myself a bit of an oyster fanatic, usually able to tell where an oyster came from by how it tastes. I had the all you can eat steamed oysters. Discovered on a business trip, and had AYCE oysters. Drove 4 hours to take the wife there this weekend. We both had an awesome time eating oysters again. Love the food wait staff and just the over all feel of the place

My home away from home. Love this place so much! From frogmore stew, shrimp and grits, steamed oysters, fried seafood to the million dollar sunsets. So glad I live around the block from here!

My family was there on Black Friday. Though we arrived early there was a long line waiting to get in to order. When we finally got our food the food was delicious. I had the shrimp platter, my husband h crabcakes and my adult children ordered oysters. My shrimp were cooked to perfection. I tasted my husband's crab cakes and ate a few of the oysters.
