RecommendedFirst time I remember eating there I was 5 years old. Last time I was there was 2 years ago. My niece and her husband had the their wedding rehearsal dinner there - low country boil and fresh roasted oysters. We had great food and great time. It’s been a favorite restaurant of mine for more than 60 years. Yes, even knew John Bowen and his wife May. The best fried shrimp, hushpuppies in the world. I was there with Mom, Dad, and my brother for many oyster roasts. Talk about memories!

RecommendedFood is delicious, but the down side is they have no air conditioning. We will be back when its cooler out. It was miserably hot.
