why on earth?! I gotta say. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed when I heard Bombay was closing. But I thought I'd give them a chance with their new restaurant. After all, as good as Bombay was, it wasn't bringing in money for the owners. So when they finally opened and got situated, we gave it a try. And I have never been SOOOO dissapointed. Really awesome I thought that Bourbon Street was just a nightclub, but one of my friends told me that they're a full-service restaurant for dinner (i guess before they turn into a nightclub after 930 or something) , so I checked it out for dinner one night, and it was really awesome. I had the burger, my boyfriend had the crabcakes. Both were really good, and the waitress was this really friendly indian woman. We must've chatted for 20 minutes, she was really great. I'll definitely be coming back!
dining experience my wife and i ate there wed and friday this week. the dinners were great both nights. the bartenders jessie and dumas are super. the half pound burger was great.
Fantastic Venue This place is simply awesome. I had dinner there with my wife on friday and I was blown away. The crabcakes I ordered were incredible, the jambalaya my wife ordered was great, the service was fantastic, and the band was really damn good too. They even had a DJ playing outside in their courtyard.
Love the food, the atmosphere and the entertainment I dont know where any of these other reviewers were eating, but the Bourbon St on Main that I ate at Saturday night while watching a live band was awesome! A Wonderful Anniversary!!! My Girlfriend and I went here for our One Year Anniversary and it was well worth it. The food was great and we loved the atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but for a business that just started you expect a few flaws here and there. -Nothing that can't be fixed. They even gave us a complementary dessert. THANKS GUYS!!!
really good dinner My wife and I came to Bourbon Street with a couple friends to try the place out after I saw it on the local news the other day, and we are so happy that we did. This place is really great, I can't believe we've just driven past it every day all these years. They've got a great feel to the place. Bourbon Street on Main is AWESOME I checked out bourbon street last night, and it was awesome. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and the best food I've ever had in harrisonburg. The place is really chill, and after hours, they have djs and dancing, so the girls and I had a great time. We'll definitely be back.
10 out of 10 -- Simply Awesome Wow, Bourbon Street has really come a long way since last semester. We just had dinner there last night, and the food is just incredible, so much better than last semester. The service is a million times better too. And of course, the nightlife is better than ANY place in harrisonburg by a HUGE margin. Me and the girls absolutely love coming out here, especially on Wednesday Nights. Good Job Bourbon Street! P.S.
