One of the very best bars in DC, with great pub food to boot
We had a great time, the staff is fun and friendly. The drinks are fantastic and the atmosphere is awesome. The food is very delicious as well.
We stopped in for a late night snack. Had the steak and frites and spinach artichoke dip. Very good, esp for bar food.
The brunch drinks here might be the best deal going anywhere near downtown. When we went it was $2.99 mimosas, $3.99 bloodies, and $4.99 espresso martinis (which it appeared were NOT batch made). The food was also great. Service was also friendly and fun and we had no wait to be seated. Only negative mark was for the seats, which are mostly fairly hard/small bottomed stools which get fairly uncomfortable after sometime, especially if you are a larger person.
The Sausage Benny (benedict) was legit. My gf got the PBELT (pork belly sandwich) and that was excellent. Great service too.
