I love this restaurant. I usually sit at the Chef's Counter to watch the cooks. It's like a meal and a show all in one. My favorite is the pork chop ... beautiful crust and juicy interior with a bit of smoke from the wood fired oven -- absolutely delicious.

I rarely rate 5 stars but I've been here twice with approx 10 years separating the visits and both times are second to none. A must while in SF. Great food, great service, great location.
Food quality is really excellent beef ,lamb, etc and server are soo excellent, too.
