restaurant tres chic, ambiance tamisee, good food.
Love the food, just perfectly cooked. Great place to talk and catch up. Had the flourless chocolate cake, it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Still a Bay Area classic! The holiday decor bumped it up a notch last night. Attentive service for a business dinner w/o hovering! The scallops for a starter were pretty amazing - but the pork chop was the evenings star! Definitely has been “rediscovered” and I’ll be back!
Curtis our waiter and Emiliano our busman were the best I’ve had in San Francisco. Food was 5 star delicious. Will return very soon.
This was my first visit with my husband. He came here two years ago and had raved about it. We sat at the Chefs Table and watched a fantastic range of culinary skills together with fabulous team leadership and rapport for each other. The food was beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. We ate there on Monday evening and rebooked for Wednesday for our last dinner. Not the boulevard of old. Still a decent meal, desert menu is sad. What happened to the awesome desert chef they had?
our son has lived here for 15 years working in the tech industry. he told us this place was stodgy. we ate here tonight and sat at the chefs bar. not only was the meal extraordinary, the show was one of the most exciting things any of us have seen in a very long time. the head chef, exec chef, su chefs and line chefs all worked together as a well oiled machine. the head chefs menu was extraordinary and anything but “stodgy”. the presentation was spot on and the experience was one we will remember for a long time.
