5 STARS!!!!! – I had to put down my cat the other day. It saddens me to read that there are people out there that have nothing better to do than to rewrite the same review over and over again, changing their reviews just enough so that it looks like multiple people had done them. Worst vet in the valley -- Ask any animal rescue organization, pet hospital, or x-patient. – Dr. David Schwartz has quite a reputation as a horrible vet in the San Fernando Valley. My wife and I unfortunately had to learn through experience by losing not one, but two, kittens in his care. We rescued a 3 month-old kitten from Los Angeles Animal Services who became very ill the day after we brought him home. AVOID BLVD PET CLINIC & DR. SCHWARTZ IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! – We recently had to put to rest our special friend and cat Geronimo. We endured a heartbreaking and costly experience with Dr. Schwartz for nothing gained-not even the assurance that we did everything we could. Avoid this Vet!!! At all costs!!!!!!!!!!!! – I have never written a review of anything before. However I took my kittens in to see Dr. Schwartz. My kitten had a cold. The doctor walked into the exam room. Did not wash his hands,or introduce himself to me or my boyfriend. He started shoving food down my kitten throat, without asking us what was wrong with our kitten or what his symptoms were. He told me my kitten was sick and had a 50% chance of dying. I had a HORRIBLE experience with this vet! – I took a kitten that I adopted from the pound to Dr. Schwartz. He took the kitten to the back, "checked" it out and declared it healthy. A few days later the kitten got sick. The doctor sold me medicines and special food for the sick kitten. It cost me $236.00 Two days later the kitten was worse. He said I should leave the kitten there and he would give it fluids. When I left, the front desk told me I had to give them $500 deposit on the cat's hospitilization. Worst customer service EVER – "Worst" is so harsh for me, it is a word I rarely use. In this case, it is apt. No one here pays any attention. Not even the doctor! Take your pet to someone who cares and be satisfied that you got good service and not served.
NEVER AGAIN – Poor assessment of my dogs; Vet didn't wash hands, no gloves used. Used the same container for 2 separate cultures (from 2 different dogs). The same scraping utensil was used for both dogs to rule out ringworm. Curt bedside manner from vet (vet tech was nice, though). I would not reccommend this vet to anyone. After exam, I asked the vet what he thought my dogs were mixed with-- his exact quote "I didn't really get a good look at them..." WHAT?!!!!
Do NOT board your pet here! – I have gone to Dr. Schwartz for about three years and he is a good vet but I have to say I will never go back to his clinic again. I normally kennel my dog there but the last few times she has sprinted out the door and not even made it out of the parking lot before going to the bathroom. Also, the girl that works weekends is very rude and I don't think she even likes animals. The last time I was there she charged me for three days when my dog had been there less than 48 hours. Boulavard animal clinic – Beats the heck out of Sherman oaks Vet on Woodman...charges for EVERYTHING AND IT'S A LITERAL ZOO THERE Dr Schwartz actually takes the time to help. His staff is extremely fantatic! This guy is my new vet. Regarding DR Schwartz is horrid.This is probably a review from a competing vet. I HAVE NEVER had a problen with his care and prices. He even takes calls on emergencies. Your "normal" vet should be open on Sunday. IGNORE THAT BAD REVIEW. IDIOT
