not first choice – Small and secluded but on a crowded street with pay parking underground. The staff was not that busy but they took their time acknowledging me. No spinning and no pilates.
Not Good – This gym is small and not crowded. The gym seems to be outdated and dark. The office staff was nicer in person than they were on the phone. Parking is a hassle and it costs $2.00. They don't have spinning or pilates. I worked out there 4 times but it just doesnt have a good vibe.
Don't join. – Small, cliquey, club - some unpleasant staff members. A couple of the personnel that work there make it quite clear they objectify women. Duct tape holding some of the machines together. If you are not a member of the "insider's circle", you will be made to feel like an outsider and unwelcome at the club. Showers function poorly - no water pressure. Closes early sometimes. Much better out there for your money.
Does the job. – Convenient. Small. The employees are very down-to-earth... they may even be on the machine you were hoping to use... Most gyms have a policy... where the employees are supposed to let the gym members use the equipment, or have priority.. not this gym. The guys there are into their workouts...and the member just have to wait sometimes. But they are all cool. The towel service is excellent! small gym – great location
Great little club with modern amenities – The other reviews must be biased or they got new management and equipment. This is an awesome little hidden gem right on trendy Robertson Blvd. Great staff, new equipment, new lockeroom and plasma TV's all over the club. Great towel service with tons of toiletries in the locker room. Friendly neighborhood feel with no crowds. They update the club every year and add something new to keep it nice and modern. Nice Hidden Gym – Boulevard Health Club is cool because it is rarely crowded and the members and employees are all chill and courteous. Also, they have both workout and bath towel service so you never have to take nasty gym towels home! The weights and cardio equipment are decent. Some of the equipment is dated but it all works just fine. They also have a heavy bag to work in the cardio area. That is a big plus!
It's ok – It's a tiny club but nice and convenient if you live in the area. Not a lot to choose from in terms of machines and equipment but it's suitable enough.
