The new management is professional and proficient. They finally have someone who knows what she is doing! Maintenance issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Apartments are clean. Rent is very reasonable. Some of the other residents complain that the new management is harassing them because they get notices when their rent is late (duh!). No central heat/air. No pool. Very small. New owners are harassing the tenants and ignoring safety hazards (the mulch burns around patios with gas cans). They have run off Mequeeta and been through 3 apartment managers in the past year and a half. It was a great place to live four years ago when I moved in. After 4 years, they charge me higher rent than tenants who have just moved in this year. Theyve also taken down most of the Bradford pear trees. Im out of here. I suggest you look elsewhere.
New owners harass and verbally abuse apartment managers and tenants. After 4 years, I pay more rent than tenants that have just moved in this year for identical units. I reported mulch burning near a gas can and was verbally abused for my trouble. New ownership has ruined the place and left no room for good will.
The biggest advantage to being at Bouldercrest Apartments is being within a short drive to most areas of Knoxville. It is also quiet and well-kept. A swimming pool would be nice for the summertime, but all in all, not a big worry. The biggest asset is that it has a wonderful property manager. She is personable and knowledgeable.
I lived there several years ago, just found this page. Wonderful apt manager, still there after all these years. Clean, easy to get to, plenty parking, *beautiful* scenery, well-managed.
