Food is wonderful--just a little expensive for a lil' Texas teacher's salary--it is San Francisco after all. Call it a special occasion and it works! Service is friendly and timely. The on-site museum with the Boudin family history of the best sour dough bread in the world is a treat, but allow yourself plenty of time to get caught up watching the bakers work their magic. Don't forget to buy some bread before you leave!
This is my go to spot when in San Francisco. This trip I brought my cousins to share in the awesomeness that’s Boudin’s. The food is very good and the sourdough bread is incredible!! The second you get out of the car the smell of fresh baked sourdough bread hits you!! I always get a great table with a view of the bay and Alcatraz. The staff is awesome. Very attentive and accommodating. Yeah, it’s a bit more of expensive...but worth it! Great job Team Boudin!!
