Negatives: Slow and inattentive service, mediocre and overpriced food Positive: the famous sourdough bread (although it came to the table cold with cold butter) I guess as a local, I should avoid a tourist-trap like this, but we were in the area and thought we’d enjoy a hometown specialty. Unfortunately, it was a big letdown.
Love the bread so much. Very quick and tasty meals as well.
Boudin is always a great experience. We loved the museum and bakery “tour” upstairs. And the food is soooooo good. I had the crab avocado roll (not sushi, just crab rolled in avacado) and a clam chowder bread bowl. We had the beet salad too and it was so yummy. Plus of course there is no where else to go for crab cakes!
