I got a lot of good stuff at the shop and I also made it a point to get a lot of good pics with cosplayers.
Absolutely no coordination, lines were dreadful, everyone cutting & then being added to lines that other people were already in, parking was horrible made us go behind building like we were gonna go into a parking garage & were sent 5 blocks away, my son missed his picture with one of the actors becuz it took about 40 mins to park!!! Never will I ever go to this event again!!! Need new management and suggest people to work lines so others won't get pushed back! And the staff they had was no help at all!!!
Attended Comic-Con. Tons of potential. The convention center is an excellent (huge) venue for this type of event. Utilize it! Everything/one was packed in like sardines. Very poorly organized. Staff was poorly equipped to handle much of the chaotic-ness. Signage was poorly displayed or non-existent. What made it worthwhile, the attendees. The convention center was ok. No real parking and it's already hard to navigate. You had a huge comic convention with no place to eat or sit. Too many people crunched into one area. The lines to everything were long and not even a good truck in sight outside to feed anyone.
Wonderful experience. Only thing I'd change is a time on our photo op said 5:15pm and we showed up at that time and it was already over and done with. We were refunded, but the experience was lost. Other than that great time!
Went to Comic Con with my Mrs, great experience. The staff and security were well into the whole experience while doing their jobs. Nice touch lads, will be back next year...
I've been to many events at the expo center. Comicon was handled poorly. I was an exhibitor showing up in the middle of the day to aid the staff during peak time. I valet my car, entered the center, and was forced to stand with everyone trying to enter the show via a very long line passing through security. Exhibitors are not guests. They are not customers.
