I called to get information about getting the air in my Chevy fixed, and the mechanic said he cannot even look at my car because another mechanic had used Freon with a sealant in it. The mechanic at this Chevy said, “my equipment is expensive and I can’t risk ruining my stuff by contaminating it with another mechanic’s stuff.” When I asked if he had suggestions of where I could take it, he said no, and said I could try to call local, small shops that wouldn’t care or worry about contamination.
