The Born Clinic put my mother on the ineffective and scientifically unsupported HCG diet, which cost thousands of dollars. Far more concerning, they prescribed her supplemental estrogen for many years. She was later diagnosed with stage-four metastatic breast cancer that was highly estrogen-receptor positive.
