Dr. Whitaker is a great physician. I went to see him after a positive cologuard test. I had no wait, he explained the colonoscopy procedure, and contacted me by phone when I was having issues with my stomach. His nurse was wonderful, so patient, knowledgeable, and caring. I honestly wish I could leave zero stars for this rating and the sad part is I'm not really rating BGC as a whole but one specific person who has soured the taste in my mouth for the entire company. I'm 41 years old and I've had Chron's for over 20 years so I've had many doctors and my interactions with Dr. Mark Fleisher from the office downtown was the worse experience I've ever had with a doctor in my entire life. A day before Hurricane Dorian , I finally got to see an specialist (doctor Cortez) , I was in Er ,3 times within a week and I got diagnosed with Diverticulitis and pancreatitis,I was very sick with those antibiotics that Er doctor prescribed.
