About this business

Renowned chefs John Besh and Brian Landry have joined forces to bring New Orleans diners the best that the Louisiana coastline has to offer. Borgne offers a seafood-heavy menu featuring dishes like 10 Clove Garlic Louisiana White Shrimp in addition to a few dishes in which seafood doesn't star, like the Twice-Cooked Garlic Chicken and Slow Smoked Suckling Pig Empanadas. Borgne's lunch menu features a daily special alongside the regular offerings.

The only reason I gave it three instead of two was the service our waitress gave us was outstanding. Honestly for the cost of the food we had it left all four of us at the table wishing for more. Nobody finished their plate because it just tasted about as uninspiring as frozen fish sticks. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. Cheers

Business response:

Hello Jordan. We are so sorry to hear that the food was not up to our standards during your recent visit. We would really like the opportunity to discuss this with you further so that we can improve these dishes. Could you please email our general manager, Michael Tran, at mtran@chefjohnbesh.com? Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we can improve.

Great seafood. Good decor. Good service and value. Don't pass up the turkey necks appetizer. Really!

The oysters were delicious, the wine was different and refreshing, ambiance was lovely, staff lovely. I stopped in for a late afternoon break after hours of walking and enjoying NOLA, If I hadn't had other dinner plans, I would have stayed!

I LOVED the Crawfish and Dumpling. The seafood taste and bold flavor of the soup came together so well that I wish I can this recipe somewhere and try making it at home myself after I left New Orleans. Every dish was executed fabulously! Check out my blog post with pictures, about it on sherpu dot com.
