Great experience with everyone associated with Borchers AuSable canoeing and Kayaks. They have a great selection of canoes and kayaks and the staff are outstanding. A+ in every way!

This place was awesome. Great owners and wonderful hospitality. Very reasonably priced and had great homeade breakfast. Rental for canoes/kaysks was also reasonable and on site. The owners are committed to satisfaction and occomidations of there visitors. I'd suggest them to anyone. Thank you for a great couple days. :)

What a wonderful 4th of July with Mark and Cheri and the fantastic staff at Borchers. My squad and I couldn't have asked for a better time as we felt like we were staying with family for 2 beautiful days. We capped off 2 days of kayaking with gorgeous weather and unending laughs with remarkable Fireworks over looking the AuSable with Mark and Cheri. The kids have insisted this is a Tradition that will continue for years to come so it looks like your stuck with the McHales now! Thanks for a unforgettable 2017 4th of July!

Owners are very personable and the staff is excellent. We have been there twice in one week. Friendly staff was waiting for us at pick up point each time.
I have always gone to Penrods my whole life! Penrods was packed and not a parking space in sight so I decided to try borchers! You guys were busy as well but the staff was beyond happy and helpful and patient!!! I had my 2 girls with me and they were so excited that a young man gave them 2 little kid paddles to use and even when we were picked up they were super friendly!!! We will be back for sure!!!! Thank you for a pleasant trip down river and an awesome staff!!!! �

Had a great time this week at Borchers! Nice, cozy bed and breakfast right on the Au Sable with beautiful woodwork and stonework, great breakfast, cheerful and smart service, both for the inn and for the kayaking and canoe outings. Highly recommended and already reserved for next year!
