Hubby planned a getaway for us and chose this place. Fabulous choice!! Cherie and the staff are amazing . We,are novice kayakers . Their staff were so helpful. Great relaxing visit!

Just left Borchers and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect right on the Au Sable, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners and staff. They treat you like family and make sure you're taken care of in every way! Breakfast was also delicious too! We will definitely be back this season to stay here here again!

I grew up canoeing the AuSable with friends and family and even though I have lived out of state I still come back to wonderful Northern MIchigan and to be with family. Borchers has become our favorite family reunion meeting place. It is very warm and welcoming, the lodging and food are excellent. We will certainly be back many more times.
