I miss the old hot chocolate where they made the flower designs on the top, and in the wide mouth mugs. Now it’s in a small normal mug, barely above room temperature. The new decor doesn’t match at all what I think of boomtown as, it’s way too bright and sterile, now it just looks like a cookie cutter coffee shop.
Great coffee and a cool vibe on 19th Street. One of the best stops in the Heights!

Great place to hang out and grab a coffee and nosh. Pulled out my laptop and did some work. One bad note: music was tooo loud to be able to talk on the phone.
Absolutely the best coffee and latte in Houston. What a great addition to the The Heights, Boomtown Coffee is! Ambiance of friendliness, cleanliness, great, healthy food choices and space to sit and chat inside and out. Love the coffee at Boomtown. Glad they're in my neighborhood.
A casual coffee shop with a simple menu. Everything they do is excellent, the various coffees, the egg tacos! Delicious!
