Bookies has always been one of my faves in downtown Detroit. But Derek 👍👍 best server I have ever had there!!!
best grilled cheese "D Cheezy" and tomato basil soup. went well with a Blue Moon!
I happened to walk into the bar at the same time as someone the bartender did t like and because he assumed we were together I was refused service. Even if we were together he could have refused him service and not myself. I’ve never been treated so poorly at any establishment.
I go to Bookies before every Red Wings game with great food and atmosphere!!!
The food was very good and service was great too.
