RecommendedWhen visiting my daughter in Chattanooga, we went to Booker T Washington State Park to enjoy the sunshine. What a treat in the middle of the city!! Ranger Thomas was so nice and made our afternoon perfect!
My second visit, July of 2011 was my first. I like it better when it's hot, but was able to roam barefoot today and things were very quiet! We could use some more Crockett's this century!

What an unexpected gem. Especially for hikers. 30 miles of trails right here. A huge lake and beautiful warm bathrooms with hot showers. What’s not to love!!
This park is so beautiful! You are very close to a thriving town but you would not know it. Probably one of the coldest camping trips with lows in the 20’s. Definitely plan on trips back to Panther Creek when the weather warms a bit🥾🔥⛺️
