Great coffee. Only place in Everett that understands coffee. I wish they were open earlier its hard to wait till 10am sometimes but it is worth the wait! Also great london fogs!!! Keep up the good work
Coffee was poor service was poor. I was charged a dollar extra for vanilla flavor. The menu says 3.50 but I was charged 4.91. Not a good deal for what you get. I would say you would get a better cup at a gas station then here. There are coffee stands and houses all over Everett that are far better then this. I couldn't recommend this place to someone and feel good about it. It's too bad because it is a cool environment. I think next time I will stop and get coffee elsewhere before going to the everett library.
As an Everett Public Library employee, I regularly step across the library threshold to Bookend whenever I have a hankering for a sterling macchiato--the espresso is a showstopper & the galaxy-class staff know what they're doing & friendly while they do it. Not to miss.
About a month ago they wanted to charge me for a glass of tap water also. BUYER BEWARE: Purchased a pasta dish and was Sooo spicy couldn't eat it. No refunds or exchanges allowed -to bad for me. Got owner on phone who told me "they carry such high end foods most people can't appreciate them". She finally did agree to give me another food item ("but only this time so don't ask again!") which was so dry and tasteless I could hardly eat it-guess my tastebuds aren't sophisticated enough for saran wrapped eggs!!! They use their own custom whipped cream! Would it be weird to order an "Espresso con Panna, hold the espresso"?
