Dr. Bonner is PHENOMENAL!!! My PT texted him 2 days into my surgery and he responded to her immediately while in-between flights to a convention for work. Surgery was amazing, he completed my surgery before my husband could get his coffee, LOL! My husband was completely impressed. My recovery is astounding, little to NO swelling, incisions healed quickly (can't even see them), and he is the most Kind and HUMBLE doctor I have ever met considering he is the #1 specialist in my opinion!!!
For an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair: From start to finish the experience was great. Beyond the skillful surgical process itself, the most striking asset I witnessed was superb team (physician, OR/hospital staff, therapists, patient) communication among the entire team... before and after surgery. Options were discussed and questions answered without regard to time throughout the entire evolution... PT and follow up too. Therapists had free access with Dr. Bonner regarding my care.
Dr. Bonner is excellent - he is very thorough, compassionate, and easy to speak with - I looked forward to every visit with his office.
I was completely satisfied with Dr. Bonner and his PA, Ms. Gill. Everything was explained thoroughly front the start of visits for my shoulder injury, through actual surgery process, and recovery. Since Dr. Bonner had previously done one of my knee replacements, I knew how professional, yet personable he is and there was no question that if anyone could repair several tears successfully he was the ONE!
Most outstanding doctor as well as staff. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Bonner, Sabrina Gill, and the entire staff I have recommended them to everyone who ask me or if I think they need a doctor. We believe Dr. Bonner is an exceptional orthopedist in the prime productive years of his career. My wife fell and broke her shoulder. By referral from our leading primary care physician, Dr. Bonner guided her flawlessly through healing and recovery. He may have also saved her life. By asking enough questions, he decided a DVT (deep vein thrombosis) scan would be wise. He was right. It revealed two life-threatening blood clots. He would now be our first call. We recommend him without hesitation.
EXCELLENT Ortho Specialist head-and-shoulders above most in his field. Precise, thorough, and cares about his patients. Extraordinarily skilled. He did my elderly mom's knee replacement and did my shoulder repair, with outstanding outcomes. Physical Therapists in the area know him well and frequently comment he knows all his patients and responds to any inquiries/updates immediately. I was very happy with his work and what he's done for me, and although he is very busy, he is worth the wait.
I am extremely pleased with results of Dr Bonner's surgery on my left shoulder. Previous opinions concluded that any surgery would be of little or no benefit due to arthritis and age. Dr Bonner was extremely optimistic about results that could be achieved and results of his surgery were more than spectacular! Achieved close to 100% strength and mobility in shoulder in 6 months with absolutely no remaining pain or obstructions in use. Dr Bonner and Sabrina Gill were the best!!
I can’t say enough good about Dr. Bonner. I travel from the Eastern Shore for a reason. He has a wonderful manner that put me at ease immediately. I have had both shoulders repaired by him and through all he was thorough, attentive and understanding of my goal to continue to stay very active into my 60s and beyond. Although the wait time can stretch, he is definitely worth the wait. His PA (Sabrina) is a bonus - they are a super team!
