RecommendedThe cheese curds were great! I had jambalaya and my wife fish tacos. Both were very good meals and generous proportions. We had tap beers (descent selection), so I can't comment on the cocktails. We were there pretty early in the night, so I also can't comment on service during a busy time, but everything was timely and friendly for us. We look forward to trying some heavier dishes in cool weather months. It was worth our drive and I would recommend Bonfyre. Those curds.

Myself and a number of other guests were sickened with Norovirus due to prep staff not washing their hands after using the bathroom here. Norovirus is a particularly terrible form of food poisoning that can kill people with a compromised immune system. While the fish tacos were fluffy, zesty and perfectly-seasoned as always, it wasn't worth a day and half of constant vomiting and diarrhea.
RecommendedHad Sunday brunch at Bonfyre Grill. Ordered the jambalaya & eggs. It was awesome. Exceptional dish with just the right amount of spice. Generous portion size- took half of the jambalaya home. Great giant sized bloody Mary (32 oz). Also with a good amount of heat. Wait staff was excellent, accommodating & very polite.
RecommendedMy wife and I love this place. Normally our date night. Highly recommend the bone in ribeye. Never had bad food, cool atmosphere, gear drinks.

Drinks are over priced for the quality , Bar tender was not very friendly. Ordered the prime rib only to be told they had none. Put us at a table stuffed in a small corner next to a waitress station, lots of traffic, very uncomfortable. Waiter broke a glass on the floor at my feet. Not a big problem, that happens. Food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Very unprofessional for a high end restaurant. Did not eat. Paid the $45.00 bar bill and left. Would not recommend eating there.
RecommendedOne of the better restaurants I have dined at since traveling to Madison for work. The filet was cooked perfectly! Only slight negative was paying $9 extra for scallops and getting 2 tiny ones, not even jumbo. I would definitely return for the food and ambience.
RecommendedNice spot, contained atmosphere. Met a friend for a pleasant lunch. Could be a repeat.
