Bonfire Wood Fire Cooking

About this business

Unwind at Axel's Bonfire with a bunch of friends over a few drinks. The service and the food will not let you down. The place is frequented by regulars who come here to make the most of the great Happy Hour deals. The restaurant's signature dish, Bull Bites, should definitely be on your to-order list. Besides this, you could also try out the wood-fired pizzas and the steaks.

We were there last week and it was HORRIBLE. Thought maybe it was a fluke, so we went there with our son for lunch today. He wouldnt even eat his macaroni. He loves macaroni. Beef tips had so much fat you couldnt even chew them and pizza was so flimsy you had to roll it up like a tortilla. No offers on refills for water until I was done eating, then server walks up, pours water into my cup saying nothing and there wasn't any ice left in my cup and the water she poured in my cup was warm😂😂😂 is someone pulling a prank on us... read more

I don't generally leave 1 star reviews on anything, but Bon Fire in Blaine deserves less. It was a less than desired experience since we walked in the door. After our order had been placed (flat bread margarita pizza and a French dip), we were told that they had forgotten to turn the pizza oven on, so it would be a few more minutes. Ok, no big deal. A half hour later both my wife and myself are angry. The manager sent is apologizes through a server(not even ours). When the bill came it was a full prices bill. Not much of an ... read more

They were out of the first appetizer we ordered, Coffee ordered was lukewarm, waited a few minutes for plates and silverware while our second appetizer choice sat at the table, the steak fajitas I had ordered before from here used to be good, this time there were 7 pieces, overcooked, the veggies were under cooked, the rice was cold, another order was filet mignon not worth the price and they were out of steak sauce. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we will dine here. Kind of disappointed as we used to enjoy coming ... read more

The walleye bites were awesome and me and my wife both had the whiskey marinated strip steak. It was all good but maybe a little too much whiskey flavor and I had the wild rice pilaf that had cranberries in it also. The cranberries got old after a little bit and I had the garlic smashed potatoes also and they were OK. Overall we spent $75 on a decent meal but not a mind blowing experience. We may try again but, not a place we would go to regularly.
