The airport was fine. United Airlines was a mess. From the time I called them to discuss changing my flight, they really need people on the other end of the phone with better English speaking skills, I could barely understand a word they said, to the fact that our plane was over 2 1/2 hours late. The day never go any better until I finally arrived at my destination.
Easy and close long term parking, quick to check baggage, and get through security. First time didn't have to take off shoes. As airports go very nice. Just would prefer to drive.
Took my Aunt to catch a flight to Mexico. First we standing in line when our turn attendant rude I said good morning did not respond not even looked up guess not the right color.. Not our fault she is not happy to be working. American counter her name Tara n Alison rude not polite at all.. but the rest of security nice people.
Congrats to the Boise for being on the nicest airports I travel thru on business but unfortunately it is one of the most expensive airports in the nation. One of the expensive items is the golden bottled water. I have found much less at bigger airport. I also think the airport is overloaded with to many overpriced stores vs. the size of the airport. I want to say oh that's how airports are but Boise seems desperate for income. As far as restaurants, Einstein's is the best addition to the airport with it affordable great menu... read more
