When I lived in Fresno, I now live in Florida, I purchased an all original 66 Shelby GT 350 in the early 80s. I totally did a ground up restoration and I pulled the rough running 289 hi po motor out and Joe rebuilt it thoroughly and I think we upped the cam a little but kept it pretty much stock . It ran so damn good and does to this day. Car went on to win first place in the 1984 Shelby national convention concours and a 3rd in 86 in Dearborn Michigan. No longer showing car but it runs like a champ 34 years later
