Founded by Dirk and Harriet Boersma as a small vacuum shop in Chicago in 1935, our business later moved to Wisconsin. When a customer walked in searching for a sewing machine, the Boersmas added a line of Pfaff sewing machines to their inventory the very next day. And so Boersma's Sewing Center Inc was born, and it continues to grow today.
