I'm so glad I found Body Sattva! It is a smaller studio that is welcoming to all, feels like a community and the studio itself has a calmness to it which you don't get at the larger chain studios. They have a great selection of classes for all levels, props are available and all the instructors have been amazing! I just wish I had found this wonderful studio a long time ago!!!
I love this studio! I discovered it while staying in TO earlier this year and just love the full 360 wellness concept. I took several yoga classes and loved them all, I especially love the yin/restorative yoga (extra gentle yoga) and sound experiences with Deanna. I look forward to dropping in the next time I'm in town!
The yoga classes are great, I've been to different studios in the area and Bodysattva is by far the best. If you need a chiropractor I highly recommend Shana, she is very intuitive and knowledgeable
Bodysattva is a beautiful peaceful healing space. When I moved here a year ago, it was one of the first places I visited, and I was welcomed. I regularly take the extra gentle yoga class with Deanna, and its consistently a deep and rich experience. The group is a jolly bunch and Deanna herself gives space and wisdom for the body and mind to rest into grace.
Superb, well thought out classes, that have a daily theme, but vary week to week. I've been a student for 1 year and have made great strides in reducing and even curing my low back pain.
