Loyal client – I've been going to Bodhi Salon for almost three years now, and have been pleased with everything they've done for my hair, from cuts to Brazilian straightening to highlights. I have to disagree with the reviewer who said not to go here for blonde-- I've always been really happy with the color I've gotten here! This is a really laid-back, no-attitude, yet very professional salon. Highly recommended!
Not recommended for blond highlights – I was attracted to the salon by its website and the fact that it is owned and operated by a husband and wife. They and their staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the blond highlights I received were awful. They were brash and trashy-- super blond, the kind of blond that turns after a few shampoos; I think bleach must have been used, because I have since had much breakage and many split ends; the highlights were thick and not spaced out well; worst of all, they bega... read more

A Gem In Brooklyn – I have been to Bodhi twice and on both occasions my hair has come out great. Adeline is amazing with color. She has given me great highlights that remain beautiful for months. I have gotten many complements on my hair. Adeline is also very easy to talk to and down to earth. The owners also have a wonderful dog named Enzo, who is extremely friendly. His presence just adds to to calm ambience in the salon. If you want great hair go to Bodhi!
Finally found the best salon in NEW YORK – I have been searching for the perfect salon for years... and I have finally found it. The staff is extremly friendly and welcoming. Jean-Marc takes the time to access your hair and gives you a cut and style that is fit for your face...He is the best!!!
Best Salon in NYC! – I've been a customer at Bodhi ever since they opened their salon in Bay Ridge. I am never going anywhere else. They are all very friendly, service is great and the results are awesome.
Amazing !!! – I have been going to the Bodhi Salon for about 5 years now, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. If I ever leave New York, I'll be making trips back just to get my hair done. The owners and stylists are easy going nice friendly people with a fierce sense of style. just to enjoy... – This is the place not only to get your hair done... We are coming to Jean Marc and Adeline to talk, to relax and to rejuvenate!!!! I do not know how they are doing it! Seriously, we never tell anything how to style or how to cut, and we are always getting an excellent result! Try it...You'll like it! – I've been going to Bodhi for over 7 years now and everytime I go, I never have to wait. I'm always taken right away. Both Jean Marc and Adeline are always ready to listen and explain. If I'm unsure about what I want they will always talk it through with me and I'm always satisfied. The Best! – Bodhi is the only salon I've patronized for more than a year or two; it is everything a first-class hair salon should be - and more. The cuts Jean-Marc give me unfailingly grow out beautifully, never go through an awkward stage and Adeline's coloring is always flawless.
