My family has been eating at Bodes for many years. Today was this first time we’ve come in since masks have been required. Many employees we not wearing their mask properly. Our waitress would pull her mask down to talk, never wore it over her nose and was constantly touching/adjusting it. After our food was served, another employee leaned over our table, with out a mask on at all, to greet us and chat for a minute. I saw at least 3 more employees wearing their mask incorrectly. The food and staff are top notch! If you've not eaten there, you are missing out on a chance to enjoy fine food and experience the atmosphere of an era that is quickly disappearing in America... I can't recommend Bode's Enough!
I drive by this place everyday on my way to work and finally decided to give them a try. Excellent! We ordered an array of items and everything was super tasty and reasonably priced. We will return.

Today was our first time at Bode’s. We went in for the corned beef dinner on St Patrick’s Day. We also ordered a Reuben sandwich. It took us 1.5 hours to get our food! Not only that when we got it home we were expecting nice slabs of cooked corned beef but we got corned beef lunch meat! Yep with a very small portion of cabbage and overcooked burnt potatoes that tasted like the bottom of the pan. Very disappointed. This was also our last time as we will never go back.

I'm so sorry and I am troubled Kate that you had that experience at Bodes. We have many families that come in regularly over the week-end because we are family oriented. The cooks know perfectly well that this is not acceptable behavior at Bodes! The restaurant is cleaned professionally every evening after we closed and deep cleaned every 2-3 weeks! The restaurant is a bit run down but we are starting renovations over this summer. Please accept my sincere apology!
