Food was outstanding, though service was somewhat disappointing. The server was inexperienced in pouring beer and, although I offered to do it myself, he poured an excessively tall head. We received our entrees without ever receiving our appetizer, a frustrating experience because I was looking forward to trying the apple and brie flatbread. Chef Fernando is among the outstanding chefs I met. The man is creative and focused on making a superior dining experience. Everything has a little extra twist that separates a chef from a cook. Dijon mustard aioli as an accompaniment for a pork chop. What? Yes. And it was perfect. Congratulations. The man has talent. And Nino is a gracious host and manager.
Amazing as usual. Chef Fernando comes up with some really incredible daily specials! On this day the pork with the jazmine rice, plantains and salsa verde was just the perfect combination. Definitely a favorite go to place for lunch or dinner, any day of the week.
We just left and are so very impressed with the whole dining experience we had tonight! Soooo very delicious, thanks to Chef Fernando! Such great service, thanks to our server, Diana. And, thanks to Mgr, Jeff who stopped by through our dinner to be sure we were pleased. Pleased is too small a compliment. This dinner was fabulous from cocktails to our final glass of wine. Boca is perfect for after Gasparilla recovery!!!! But, Boca, you must bring back PBR to the PBR and bag of Bacon offering!!! I was so disappointed to have to drink a Bush. Even my father, a past Gasparilla pirate rolled in his grave!!! Please bring the PBR back!!!
Oh my deliciousness! What a great place to nurse my hangover lol. The mimosas were awesome and the pulled pork Benedict was like no other. I would agree that PBR really needs to make a comeback for the bag o bacon. Can't wait to return to try your other amazing dishes!
