$1700 for nothing – I was charged $1700.00 in repairs to fix 1989 Chevy 1500. I told them that I didn't want to put ANY money into the vehicle if they weren't absolutely sure it would be fixed. They assured me that my money would be well spent. After they "fixed" it the car ran exactly the same way it did before they took my money and they told me to get back to them in three months if it was still the same. EXTREMELY overpriced and not so honest – I knew from their reputation I shouldn't have taken my car here, but I was stuck in that I needed it back quickly. I needed a new air intake boot for my Mazda. It's a dealer-only part, which I knew, but Bobby & Steve's tacked on one of the biggest markups on dealer parts I've seen...a $77 part for $118. The worst, though, is that they wanted $67 for labor. They wanted to charge me a full hour's rate for what takes a mechanic under 5 minutes to install! (It's just a hose on top of the ... read more
