fast and helpful "tow truck driver Keith" – my girlfriend had a car problem the other night and so our motor club called Jeffs bobby and steves to assist in our misfortune. there was a driver i think "keith" was his name and he came out there within 5 mins of our call even though the club told us it could be about an hour! when he got there he told us to hop in the truck for our safety and to stay warm. he was very concernedfor our safety and had our car on the truck in less than 4 mins and we were on our way to the house. h... read more
Great People, Great Service and Great Experience – I have been a customer at Jeff's Bobby & Steve's since I moved to Columbia Heights 11 years ago. I find the staff and owners friendly and helpful. I buy my gas and have all of my car repairs and oil changes done here. They in my estimation always have my best interests in mind. They never do unauthorized work and do their utmost the help me when I am in need, especially in an emergency situation. If you don't mind your car being diagnosed at the service counter, (before it comes in the shop or a tech sees it) then this place is for you. They will diagnose recommend parts and convince you to approve a repair all before your car gets in the shop. Then when the real problems is found you will be presented an upsell repair. Kind of a 2 for 1 deal you pay for two repairs one correct and one that was a guess. The owner Jeff is a master at this. BEWARE of this man his only concern is the bottom line at the end of the day.
Unimpressive – Getting your oil changed here can take a long time. They advertise quick oil service, but I've never gotten out of the place in under an hour. That may be quick for them, but I wouldn't advertise it as such. A quick oil change means 15 minutes to most people. The customer service could use some work too. I've brought my car in to this location 4 or 5 times for an oil change and a couple minor other things, and on at least two occasions I felt like it was actually a big bother to them. Great Service – I've been using Jeff Bobby & Steve's for several years. I get my oil done their every 3 months, and get most of my repairs done their. I've never had a problem, and the repairs are always done on time and within the price range of their estimate. Now if only they'd get their WiFi working properly.
Jake, a truck driver is very nice, but service is not good – My car had a problem and I called Progressive for helping me tow a car. The company called a tow truck from Jeff 's Bobby and Steve. A truck driver, Jake, is very nice guy. He tried to help me jumped my car by using a tow truck. He is very nice guy. Keep doing a good job!!!.

Not Crrect – I had recentely bought a car from an aution and jeff bobby and steves, they had told me all it needed was a battery. So I bought a new battery and the car still wouldnt start up. So they said they could fix it and detected it to be some "electrical" problem and after $330.00 later they said it was fixed they handed the keys over and I went to the car and it didnt even start again!! Ripoff – So back in October '08 I went to Bobby and Steve's to get some work done on the engine to my car. I had an oil leak that was dripping on to the manifold causing the oil to burn and create smoke and a nasty smell coming through the vents in the car, and eventually it got in to all the gears. Ok, so the bill ends up coming to well over $1000. Problem fixed, right? Hell no.
