The best place in the city for breakfast! I have never had a bad meal there. Good service — they keep your cup full of good strong American coffee.
Make me wait 45m and tell me they can’t do a to go order because they don’t go any containers. What kind of company are you guys. (Springfield location)
I really struggled with how I wanted to review this place, but my review is 100% honest and I hope they can learn from it. My brothers and I were first time customers and they made us really feel ignored. We got a table near the entrance (our first mistake) and was greeted by a nice young woman. She took our drink orders and came back with them fairly quickly. After that, 15 minutes go by and she did not come back to our table to take our order. Food was exceptional, service was just ok. Never got refills on our drinks and no one came back to check on us after we got our food. Little details are missed here. I was told by Kelley our server, “That’s how we’ve done things for over 40 years.” If you would do things a little bit better, this would easily be a 5 Star review. And if you want customers to return, the service definitely needs to be better.
Always the best been a customer for 20 years and will always come back
Servers were inattentive when we walked in. Coffee on the table after 15 minutes when two tables are in when there are 3 tables in the diner. Place food order, one plate comes out and the second plate comes out 20 minutes later. All food was cold, eggs, potatoes, bacon. Ice cold. Sever was totally apathetic. I’ve been coming to Bob and Edith’s for 15 years and this is the first bad experience I’ve ever had but I will now only go to the CC spot.
Great atmosphere, good food and good service. If you are on Colombia Pike it's a must stop and try diner. Remember it's a diner, it's going to be crowded the servers are busy, but that's part of the experience of eating at an authentic American diner.
Great diner had eggs benedict And it was delicious.
Fun atmosphere and great food! Sure wish I could have bought a Bob & Edith's mug, though.
