The pairing and the dinner could not have been better! The expertise and attention to detail Chef Jim@ The Boathouse in Traverse City Saturday evenings dinner amazing !! A perfect pairing with the Brengman Brothers Wines from our new Two Long extra brut Fizz, ending with 2016 Riesling Beerinauslese. Thank You!!
Definitely the best restaurant in the Traverse City area. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, the food and service are top notch, and the sunsets are AWESOME!

We visited from Gaylord, MI on Feb. 28 for Traverse City’s 2018 Restaurant Week. Dinner was superb and Walter, our server was outstanding! We particularly enjoyed the specials offered on their oysters on the half-shell and the tiger shrimp along with the fixed priced menu selections. We’ve never been disappointed in a visit to the Boathouse - one of our favorite Traverse area restaurants.
Was there yesterday for Traverse City Restaurant Week. The food was delicious, the service was great (actually, our server was very friendly and competent) and the view spectacular. My only regret is that I didn't call earlier to make a reservation as we had to sit in the lounge area and not by the windows. Next time.
Amazing food. Beautiful views. Great service. We will be back.
