The food was excellent and the chicken strips were the best I've ever had. We had great service and atmosphere was nice and casual. It was nice being on the patio watching the people tubbing and kayaking on the river.

The place is busy but, there's a good reason as to why. Fish tacos are terrific and if you're lucky enough to get a riverside table on a warm summer day, it's a great experience. Whenever I travel west, I stop in Salida. Love the ambience.

Terrible service. Went there two time this summer, long wait to be seated even though the place was less than half full. Sat for at least half an hour before getting service the first time, walked out the second time.
Great food and service each and every time :) Salsa yesterday was made to perfection!
