We came for a girls'weekend and we had a good time. Rooms are spacious and nice! The beds are great. Love the historical site!
A lovely resort! I was only there for a spa weekend so didn't see and experience everything, but was completely impressed with my own experiences. The grounds are beautiful and well thought out. The interiors are clean, fresh, tasteful, and have that touch of history with no shabbiness. The beds are heaven on earth. For what my husband and I wanted it was perfect. Excellent food, the suite was beautiful and they provided us with a late checkout. The pool was wonderful, no children just mature adults relaxing. The one and only bad comment I could say was the noice in the breakfast room, I had to request sitting in the main dining area because of children's volume.
A bit old fashioned and I don't have anything against that. But it does need a refurbishment, as literally everything is quite, well, old fashioned.
Really nice room at a stunningly beautiful resort. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. There was a little confusion at check-out (so check bills carefully), that was cleared up quickly.
