Blvd 16 Restaurant and Lounge serves up American California – The Mini Burger is topped with bourbon onions, smoked tomato, black pepper aioli, and jack cheese. The Mini Burger’s (aka Slider) beefy patty was flavorful, but the star was the bourbon onions. They make this little burger (which is a mini replica of the full-size Bourbon Beer Burger) taste like no other. It was sweet, caramelized, yet not cooked down all of the way, leaving it still juicy. Destination restaurant? I don't think so. – It's sad to see that blvd 16 needs to post their own postitive reviews. ..almost as sad as this "essentially a hotel restaurant sort of place, with cuisine to match. Seriously -- overpriced and simply not worth it.
Terrible service, confused staff – I was excited to check out this new restaurant in our neighborhood, especially after reading about the poolside dining (which sounded lovely for a hot sunny Sunday afternoon). I called and confirmed that they were serving brunch until 2pm, that we could eat by the pool, and that it would be an appropriate place for an upscale family meal. Knowledgeable Staff and Excellent Cuisine – Ate at BLVD 16 a few weeks ago. It was a special occasion and they made us feel amazing. Not only did they treat us to a glass of champagne with strawberries, they also used our names throughout the meal which made us feel special.
