Club made a mistake , but really , close it. – Remeber Numbers - stabbing there , death and kill and I blame the security who was promtly fired . Name Change Doesn't Mean Change of Heart – As many have read by this time, on December 10, 2010, a young man named Aaron Michael Sheerhoorn ran up to Blur Bar and said he had been stabbed and needed help. The bouncers closed the door on him. He attempted to run to another bar for help, but fell down in the parking lot and his assailant, still chasing him on foot, overpowered him and stabbed him to death. This place ought to be ashamed! – If the rumors are indeed factual then I offer the following: You can change your name all you want, but in the end a life was lost and the employees of your establishment COULD have done something to help a fellow man in need and maybe in doing so, an awful tragedy could have been prevented! Horrible place – This place needs to be sued and shut down. A person would be alive today if they helped the victim. Shame on you Blur. Hopefully you will be shut down SOON. Montrose does not want you here.
ANSWERS NEEDED REGARDING RECENT STABBING! – As all have likely heard, a young man was stabbed in the parking lot of Blur on Friday, 12/11. News reports essentially state that the victim ran to the front steps of Blur, was begging for help, but received none. Rumor in the community is that Aaron, already stabbed once, was told by Blur security that the incident did not involve Blur, and he needed to keep it outside, where he was promptly killed. USE THE VALET SERVICE!!!!! NO PARKING ON STREET. – I went to Blur Sunday evening for the first time. I am a single Hispanic female who does not live an alternative lifestyle and I had a great time. Horrible place with bouncers who cause serious injuries. – Please be aware that if you sit down and lean against the wall, you can get in serious trouble at Blur. Rude bouncers will immediately kick you out only for this, then assault you verbally and physically outside. At the and you might find out that they broke your arm. This is the worst place I have ever seen. If anything happens to you, please report them to BBR, TABC and call 911 if they assault you.
