My new dentist I went here about two weeks ago for a regular cleaning. I picked Dr. Blumenkranz after checking out some reviews. I got an appointment quick without having to wait a month. The receptionist was very polite and introduced herself. Dr. B came out and also introduced himself. I appreciate that he did all the work- from X-Rays to cleaning etc. Also, the guy is just enjoyable. This is my new dentist.
He's a seasoned pro! I just finished my root canal therapy yesterday with Dr. Blumenkranz or Dr. Uzy as I call him (in my head). I was in a lot of pain when I came in for my initial consultation and before I left he made sure I had antibiotics and pain meds to help my condition. He and his staff were very personable. Could not have been nicer Dr. Blumenkranz and his staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was terrified to get a root canal and postponed the procedure until I was in too much pain to continue. Dr. Blumenkranz squeezed me in the same day and kindly and patiently explained everything and answered all of my questions. The procedure itself was not nearly as unpleasant as I expected (better than my experience getting a cavity filled), and the doctor explained everything to me during the procedure. Comfortable ! I am usually terrified of the noises, the tools and just the all around work that I need to have done, but when I went to Dr. Blumenkranz he made me feel so calm and comfortable that I almost forgot that I needed to have a tooth pulled, he made the procedure very easy and comfortable for me, so for that thank you so much !
Root Canal First root canal for me. I was expecting a lot of pain, but had virtually none. I was referred to Dr. Blumenkranz for this work; he fit me quickly into his schedule for a temporary fix so that I could continue on vacation, and then completed the root canal when I returned. I thought he adequately explained what he was doing, had a good sense of humor, and was sensitive about pain.
