Dr. John Sweeney & his dental hygenist were spectacular in their "patient analysis"...I appreciate their pacing...my blood pressure seemed elevated a bit & they were so very patient to deal with my anxiety...more than anything, I respect & revere their knowledge of dentistry & their expertise in explaining the basics of "what needs doing!" I applaud the "welcomeness" and "joyfulness" of their practice! I have had some horrible experiences at dentists offices in the Cape Fear Area. They have told me I have no pain tolerance when they didn't numb the area correctly. I have also had people expect surprise payments and then embarass me when I didn't come up with hundreds of dollars. Bluewave is so great because the docs are incredibly skilled, patient, and caring and because the staff is awesome. I love everyone from the office staff to the hygenists. Consistent with prior trips to Dr. Sweeney's office, my last visit was very pleasant. His staff is most friendly and you get a feeling that they genuinely care about your teeth and gums.

Some teeth are easy to work on, some are not. My last visit involved one that is not anywhere near easy! I was told what would happen, how it would happen, how long it would take and what to expect after the procedure. Was it fun? No, but it not awful and I had no pain during the process. I cannot wait to see them again!
